Single-Engine Land Aircraft - Fixed Gear (non-Light Sport Aircraft):


All pilots have to complete a check-out (minimum *1 hour) in the aircraft make and model being flown.



Single-Engine Land Aircraft - Retractable Gear:


Private Pilots need 100 total hours, of which at least 25 hours have been in retractable gear aircraft, including a check-out (minimum *1 hour) in the aircraft make and model being flown.


In lieu of the 25 hours of retractable gear time, the pilot must receive 5 hours of dual instruction.



Cessna 172SP equipped with G1000:


Experienced G1000 pilots with a minimum of 5 hours of G1000 time will require a check-out (minimum *1 hour) in the aircraft model being operated.


Non-experienced G1000 pilots must attend the Aviator Air Centers G1000 Ground School and receive 5 hours of dual instruction from a qualified CFI.



SportCruiser (Light Sport Aircraft):


All pilots with a minimum of 30 hours of Light Sport Aircraft time will require a check-out (minimum *3 hours).


Non-experienced Light Sport Aircraft pilots must receive 5 hours of dual instruction from a qualified CFI or Sport Aircraft Instructor.
