  1. Bullet  Aviator Air Centers will send you an acceptance letter along with Form I-20.



  1. Bullet  Complete Form I-901. Accomplish this step prior to scheduling the in-person interview with the United States Embassy. (Important:

      the information entered on Form I-901 must match the information contained in Form I-20.) It is recommended that you expedite

      Form I-901 processing by paying an additional $30. You may pay the Form I-901 fee via credit card online or you may print the

      application and send it with a money order issued by a United States bank. Click here to access Form I-901.



  1. Bullet  Contact the nearest United States Embassy to schedule an in-person interview to obtain approval for an M-1 visa. Provide the 

      following documents to the interviewer: Passport, Form I-20, receipt for payment of Form I-901, and proof of financial responsibility.



  1. Bullet  After M-1 visa approval, complete the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) application. Complete a training request for

      each flight training course. The application processing fee for each course/rating (Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine) is

      $130. If a fingerprinting agency is not located in your country, you will need to have the fingerprint portion completed after

  1. Bullet  It is recommended that you obtain an FAA Student Pilot/Medical Certificate (First Class) from an Aviation Medical Examiner prior to

      leaving your country. If unable to obtain a Student Pilot/Medical Certificate in your country, you will be required to obtain a   

      medical certificate in the United States prior to beginning your flight training.

  1. Bullet  It is required that all International Students purchase Non-Owned Aircraft Liability and Physical Damage Insurance prior to flight

Aviator Air Centers is authorized to issue Form I-20 to non-immigrant students. The M-1 visa is required for vocational flight training. A minimum level of education is required for issuance of an M-1 visa. You must have at least the equivalent of 12 years of basic education. It is important that you are able to read, speak, and understand English.
