The goal of our G1000 training is to transition pilots from the traditional panel (Nav I) to the Technically Advanced Aircraft (Nav III). The Nav III, commonly referred to as the G1000 system, incorporates an Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS), GPS with moving map display, and an autopilot. Our course is designed to develop a suitable foundation of system knowledge and provide the pilot with the tools necessary to make the transition effortlessly at a reasonable cost.
The ground school is approximately 3 hours in duration and includes a thorough understanding of the following topics:

• Traffic Information Service (TIS)

• Terrain Proximity

The flight portion of the training will cover basic VFR operations, a variety of instrument approaches, and abnormal/emergency procedures.
You will receive a G1000 Quick Reference Card and a logbook endorsement upon completion of the G1000 course.
